Enjoy the variety of Egypt and visit Cairo from Hurghada. An air-conditioned car will bring you from your hotel to Hurghada airport where you will board your flight to Cairo. On arrival in the Egyptian capital, an Egyptologist guide will be waiting for your arrival. The journey begins in Giza, where you will visit 3 of Egypt's largest and most famous pyramids.
The Great Pyramid is the oldest, and is the last remaining Wonder of the 7 Wonders of the World. The tip of the Pyramid of Khafre is still partially covered with limestone. The Pyramid of Menkaure is surrounded by 3 other, much smaller pyramids.
Visit the step pyramids of Sakkara. The necropolis of Sakkara is the next most important burial site of Lower Egypt, after Giza. The largest and most impressive burial site is that of the Pharaoh Djoser, from the 3rd dynasty of the Old Kingdom, around 2650 B.C. He is buried in a famous step pyramid.
You will also visit Memphis, the old capital city, where you will see ruins and the giant toppled statue of the Pharaoh Ramses II, as well as the Alabaster Sphinx. In the afternoon you can visit Khan el-Khalili bazaar to go shopping.
You'll also get to visit the famous antiques market in Cairo. After an unforgettable day, you will be brought back to the airport in Cairo in the evening. Fly back to Hurghada where you will be transferred back to your hotel having enjoying a great day in the Egyptian capital.
