Day 6 of your Nile Cruise once again begins with a hearty breakfast, and then you will be heading off the explore Luxor’s West Bank, where you will get to visit one of the country’s most famous sites, the Valley of the Kings. Here, you will be able to see more than 60 ancient royal tombs, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen and the tomb of Pharaoh Ramesses II.
Next, you will make your way to another remarkable site; the rock-cut mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The is one of Egypt’s most visited ancient monument, and no doubt you will enjoy exploring this incredible temple before you finally return to the cruise ship for lunch.
After everyone has eaten, you will once again disembark this to visit the Luxor East Bank where you will be taken to see another two fabulous sites. Your first stop will be at the sprawling Karnak Temple complex. This ancient temple city was built over a period of 2000 years or more, and although much of it has been destroyed over the years, there is still so much to see.
Your next stop will be at Luxor Temple, which is truly a remarkable site, and one which many people also visit in the evenings when the entire site is illuminated. Finally, you will return to the ship in time for dinner and a very entertaining Egyptian Belly Dance Show. Tonight you will once again be sleeping on the water at Luxor.
