When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will be there to meet and greet you, and to offer any assistance you may need. They will escort you in a private air-conditioned vehicle, and they will make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible when you board the prestigious river cruiser for your 13 Day Cairo to Luxor Nile Cruise package.
After boarding, settle into your cabin, and then feel free to make use of the boat’s many amenities. In the evening you will enjoy your first delicious onboard dinner, and then the rest of the evening is yours. Tonight you will be sleeping onboard the vessel in Cairo.

Wake up to an excellent onboard breakfast, and then it will be time for a sightseeing tour that will see you visiting Cairo’s top two historical attractions. First, you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum where you can view thousands of ancient relics, including the treasures that were recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamen. You can also view some real mummies which are on display in a special room known as the Mummies Room. However, in order to do so, you need to purchase a ticket onsite.
Next, your will be transferred to the Giza Plateau to view Egypt’s most iconic attraction, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Finally, after you have had ample time to explore the area, everyone will be transferred back to the Nile cruise for some relaxation time and some wonderful Takht (oriental music). Tonight will once again be spent on the water in Cairo.

Most people go on vacation because they want to relax, and today is the perfect day to do just that. Once your ship departs from Cairo in the morning, it will spend the next 12 hours cruising to Beni Suef. Enjoy today as you wish, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner being served along the way. There will also be a very entertaining Guest Party, and tonight will see you sleeping on the water at Beni Suef.
Wake up and enjoy a wonderful breakfast onboard the ship, and then everyone will disembark for a truly memorable excursion to the Fayoum Oasis in modern air-conditioned vehicles. On arrival at Fayoum, you will have ample opportunity to explore the Dahshur Pyramids and the Meidum Pyramid. This is truly a remarkable opportunity to see some ancient relics which many tourists never get to see because most regular Nile River cruises only run between Aswan and Luxor.
After your visit to Fayoum, everyone will return to the Nile cruise, where you will have some time for relaxing, before finally sitting down to another excellent 5-Star dinner. Tonight, you will once again be sleeping onboard the vessel at Beni Suef.
On day 5 of your Cairo to Luxor Nile cruise, the Cruise will make an early start and begin navigating its way to Minya, with a good breakfast served along the way. You have the entire day to yourself to enjoy as you wish. At around midday, lunch will be served, and then you have more free time until dinner is served in the early evening. There will also be a fun-filled Treasure Hunt game host onboard after dinner, and tonight will be spent on the water at Minya.
Enjoy a good 5-Star breakfast onboard and then it will be time for everyone to disembark for a Minya excursion to Tuna El Gebel and Ashmunein. After this wonderful morning tour, you will return to the ship for a delicious lunch, and then it will be time for another outing, this time to visit four different ancient tombs: the Tomb of Baqet III, the Tomb of Khety, the Tomb of Amenemhet, and the Tomb of Khnumhotep II.
Your tour of the four tombs typically lasts for about one and a half hours, after which everyone will return to the boat. You will some time to relax and to freshen up, and then it will be time to sit down for another splendid onboard dinner. After dinner, you can enjoy a delightful Folkloric show on the boat, or you can simply have the evening to yourself. Tonight the ship will remain tied up at Minya.
Once again, enjoy a fabulous breakfast onboard your luxury river cruiser, and then it will be time for yet another unforgettable excursion to an area known as Tell El Amarna. Once you disembark, you will board a luxury air-conditioned vehicle for the two-hour journey Tel El Amarna where you will then be able to visit and explore another five ancient tombs: the Tomb of Ahmose, the Tomb of Meryre, the Tomb of Pentu, the Tomb of Panehesy, and the Royal Tomb of Akhenaten.
You will also be visiting the Great Palace of King Akhenaten, the Small temple of Aten, and the great temple of Aten. The average visit to these sites lasts for about two and a half hours, after which you will board your tour bus again for the journey bake to your ship.
After boarding, the ship will depart, and it will later come to a stop on the water in front of the fascinating Prince Tawdrous Monastery, allowing you to admire this wonderful site from the water. The Nile Cruise will remain tied up at this location at Asyut for the night.
Day 8 of your Cairo to Luxor Nile cruise is all about relaxing and leaving your troubles behind. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner onboard, and feel free to take advantage of the ship’s many world-class amenities. Alternatively, just enjoy the scenery and spend the day lounging around the pool on the vessel’s spacious sundeck. In the evening, there will also be a Black and White party onboard, and all passengers are encouraged to partake in the fun.
Wake up and enjoy a hearty onboard breakfast while the river cruiser makes its way to El Balyana. On arrival, you will disembark, and you will be taken to visit Abydos Temple for some great photo taking opportunities. You will then head back to the ship in time for lunch, and it will sail to Qena via the impressive Naga Hammadi Bridges, finally arriving in Qena in time for a good dinner.
After dinner, enjoy a fun-filled Contest Party, and be sure to get a good night’s sleep on the water at Qena
After enjoying another good breakfast onboard the vessel, you will disembark for an excursion to the ancient Dendera Temple which is about a 20-minute drive away. This is another historical site which is off the main tourist trail, and it is certainly a place which is well worth visiting.
After your visit, you will be driven back to the boat, and it will then start navigating its way to Luxor, with lunch being served along the way. In the afternoon while you are sailing to Luxor, there will be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dancing Show onboard which all passengers are welcome to attend.
In the early evening dinner will be served, and the remainder of the night is free for you to enjoy the way you want to enjoy it before finally retiring for a good night’s sleep in the comfort of your luxury cabin while the boat is tied up at Luxor.
Day 11 of your Cairo to Luxor Nile cruise is going to be a busy day, so be sure to enjoy a good breakfast onboard in the morning. Once everyone has finished eating, you will be going on a tour of Luxor’s West Bank which is home to some of Egypt’s most famous ancient attractions, including Valley of the Kings, and Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple.
The whole day is dedicated to sightseeing, and you can expect to spend most of the morning strolling through the Valley of the Kings. This is an ancient necropolis, and home to more than 60 royal tombs, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen.
In the afternoon you will return to the ship for another great lunch, and then you will be taken to see and explore the magnificent mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, you will head back to the ship again where you will have a bit of free time before sitting down to a wonderful 5-Star dinner. Enjoy the rest of the evening as you wish, and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep on the water at Luxor.
Wake up to yet another smashing onboard breakfast, and prepare yourself for a morning of unforgettable discoveries. Today will see you going on an excursion to Luxor’s East Bank where you will be visiting two truly remarkable historical sites, Karnak Temple and Luxor temple.
Both sites will amaze you, but one will both amaze you and astonish you. Rather than just being one ancient temple, the Karnak complex is essentially the ruins of a sprawling ancient temple city. Construction was ongoing for more than 2,000 years, and the site covers thousands of square meters. It really is a sight to behold.
After your sightseeing tour, you will return to your cruise liner for lunch, and then it will be time for you to disembark. One of our tour managers will be standing by to meet and greet you, and they will then escort you to Luxor Airport where you will be boarding a flight back to Cairo.
When you arrive in Cairo, your assigned tour manager will meet you at the airport, and then you will be escorted to a luxury hotel in Cairo where you will be spending the last night of your 13-day Cairo to Luxor Nile cruise vacation.

Wake up and enjoy a lovely 5-Star breakfast at your hotel, and then it will soon be time for you to check out. At the agreed time, your tour manager will meet you, and they will then escort you to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
