Dahab is also popular for the Blue Hole, which is a submarine sinkhole more than 300 feet deep that is famous among divers. The Blue Hole is a deep hole in the Red Sea with a depth of 130 meters. It has a shallow hole 6 meters wide, known as the saddle; as well as an opening to exit from the hole or the blue well to the open sea called the arc in the form of a long tunnel with a length of 26 meters.
